Burgess Excel Dual Care is a 60g recovery and gut-support feed for rabbits and guinea pigs. It can be fed dry or mixed with warm water into a paste for syringe feeding when your pet needs extra nutritional support after illness, surgery, stress, reduced appetite, or digestive upset.
Keep a sachet in your small-animal first-aid kit, and use alongside plenty of good-quality hay and fresh water. If your rabbit or guinea pig stops eating, is lethargic, has diarrhoea, or shows signs of gut stasis, contact an exotic-pet vet urgently. Do not force feed before a vet has ruled out a blockage.
